About us
For decades, Dunham Park in Chicago, Illinois has been a pillar for developing quality players through the game of fast-pitch softball on the northwest side. In 2020, a group of girls known as the “Dunham All-Stars” formed the first travel team in the park’s history to show other programs and neighboring parks they could compete.
Fast forward to today and the “All-Stars” are now the Dunham Dragons, a travel program offering players and families the opportunity to deepen their love for the game and compete outside of Dunham Park’s annual summer and fall house leagues.

Jesus' passion for baseball started when he was very young rooting for the Chicago Cubs and playing little league at Humboldt Park. He played baseball at Lane Tech High School and as a Sophomore he was part of the 1996 City Championship Team. He was named to "Mayor Daley's All-city team" which competed against All-star teams from around the nation. As a senior he was on Baseball America's top 100 prospects list. He went on to play baseball at Triton College and was part of a team that qualified for the 2000 JUCO World Series.
Jesus currently coaches 3 softball teams at Dunham Park, including the 14U Dunham Dragons travel team. He is the head coach of the lane tech jv softball team and coached them to victory in the 2025 city championships. He also serves as the Travel Director for the DPGSA Travel program.
